Avid Gilmore Girls fans couldn’t be happier that Netflix has revived their beloved series. Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life sort of picks up where the original series left off in 2007. Main character, Rory Gilmore is essentially homeless and is crashing with friends in New York, Stars Hollow, and London. Throughout her travel adventures the audience is reintroduced to the original cast.
A big loss in the character line up is Rory’s grandfather Richard Gilmore, played by the late Edward Herrmann, which launches her grandmother, Emily Gilmore (Kelly Bishop) into an unexpected new lease on the single life. Of course the death of her father is leaving Rory’s main character counter partner Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham) feeling lost and in need of therapy. Lorelai has found herself in a ten-year relationship with Luke Danes, played by Scott Patterson who has yet to put a ring on it.
So what’s so intriguing about Luke Danes in the Gilmore Girls revival? Not his lack of commitment, but for some fans the big mystery is how he has more hair now than he did back in 2007! Hollywood has been working it’s hair magic for decades. With modern technology and hair and make up on set it’s easy to make a balding man appear to have a full head of hair.
To the untrained eye hair systems done properly are completely undetectable. A toupee has become an eyesore of the past. Most Hollywood celebs won’t admit they’ve invested in a hair system but when there is hair where there once was no hair, it’s hard to miss. Fortunately, most men are starting to realize that there is no shame in their game if they opt to try out a hair system. I mean we’re living in a society where plastic surgery is as common as a change of hair color.
We stand behind Luke Danes and his newfound hair. More power to him and all of the men out there who are getting their hair back, whether you’re famous or not.
