Q. I am a 25 year old female with
thinning hair. I have always had soft hair, but now it is so
thin that I cannot wear it down without people laughing at
me. HELP. I really want to be beautiful again.
A. Eliminating
hair loss has never been easier. Unlike drugs or surgery,
the Sensi-Graft® and Reallusions® procedures for men and
women are virtually
risk-free.
Q. What can I expect in a
consultation with New Look Institute specialist?
A. A
Consultation gives us the opportunity to meet each other and
to show you all of the possibilities visually. It is a
casual, often fun meeting in which inhibitions and fears are
shed and friendships are often formed.
Q. Does everyone qualify for the
SensiGraft or Reallusions programs?
A.
Unfortunately, not everyone qualifies for SensiGraft and Reallusions hair replacement. Both hair replacement systems
have proven extremely effective in the treatment of
inherited male and female hair loss as well as hair loss due
to factors such as accidents medical treatment or systemic
disorders. To find out if you may qualify contact us for
your free consultation today.
Q. What is the hair growth cycle?
A. It is normal
to lose 75-100 individual hairs daily. With male pattern
baldness, new hair growth is diminishing in taking the place
of hairs that are shed. Hair is constantly growing in
cycles. These cycles are as follows:
ANAGEN - This is the growth
cycle in which cells divide and elevate to the upper portion
of the hair bulb, as dead cells.
CATAGEN- During the catagen
stage the hair is separated from it's nutritional source and
hair growth stops.
TELOGEN- During this cycle
(which ranges in time from one to four months) the hair
either falls out or is forced out by new growth.
Q. I often hear the words "a good
candidate" associated with hair transplantation. What
exactly constitutes a good candidate?
A. Some of the
important factors that make an individual a good candidate
for surgery are as follows:
-
The overall quality and abundance
of existing hair is paramount. (Along with texture,
color and curl).
-
Age of perspective patient - The
older you are, the more recognizable your hair loss
pattern will be. (It is very normal to be turned down by
a hair transplant physician when you are in your
twenties due to this factor.)
-
Patient expectation- Do you realize
that you will not gain one additional hair? Hair
transplantation involves relocating hairs you already
have.
Q. Is there anything else out there
besides Rogaine and Propecia that have been proven to grow
hair?
A.
Unfortunately, No! There are hundreds and maybe thousands of
products that grow profits but none have been proven to grow
new hair. Sensi-Graft® and Reallusions® have successfully
bridged the gap between surgical transplants, chemicals and
conventional hair replacement, offering a permanent solution
to hair loss.
